The non-employee student transfer window for the 2009-10 school year is closed.
The student transfer request MUST be based on one of the reasons specified in Policy 2103, Student Transfers.
When to Apply:
The transfer applications must be submitted to the requested school between March 1 and August 1 for the following school year. The non-employee student transfer window for the 2009-10 school year is closed.
How To Apply:
Full-time or part-time resident employees should complete Part I of the Student Transfer Application: SCPS Employee form and submit via email (through GroupWise) or fax as indicated on the form. If the reason for the request requires additional documentation, submit those documents with the transfer application. If the reason for the transfer request is child care, the parent/guardian must complete and submit the child care verification form.
Applications must be received between March 1 and August 1 for the following school year if the student transfer request is for a school other than the employee's work location or the school nearest the employee's work location.
Admission is based on an annual application. Employees with nonresident students currently enrolled in SCPS must submit a new application each year.
