2009-2010 School Year Closings and Delays Due to Inclement Weather

Every effort is made to notify the media by 5:30 a.m. of full-day closings or late openings. In cases of early dismissal, the media will be notified as soon as the decision is made. The decision to close or dismiss school early is made in anticipation of unsafe conditions.

The radio and television stations are contacted whether school is closed for the full day, opens late, or is dismissed after students have arrived at school.  You can find a complete list of radio and television stations by clicking on the Inclement Weather Procedures.
