  Ms. Blackwell

This is my 7th year of teaching Kindergarten at Kate Waller Barrett and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I grew up in Massachusetts on a dairy farm and moved to Virginia upon graduating from college. I graduated from Lynchburg College with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and have just recently completed my Master’s Degree in Literacy at George Mason University. This past summer I bought my first house and am having a great time fixing it up and making it into a cozy home for myself and my three cats. When I’m not working on the house, I enjoy running, reading, cooking new recipes, painting, and several other arts and crafts.
